📖 THE STORY

This is your only chance to regain your freedom. The Warden is preoccupied with a riot in the adjacent cell. Will you be able to escape within the hour before he gets back? Maybe with some help from your cellmates you just might have a chance...

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• The cooperative puzzles between the two cellmates felt like a real-life jailbreak situation. We really enjoyed utilizing the tools that were provided in order to break free from the first part of the game.

• The objective of breaking out of jail by having to break out of the cell, figure out an escape route, hardwire computers, and use fingerprint recognition were all great concepts that connected closely with the theme of the room.

• There was a good variety of different types of puzzles that we had to solve.
  

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• We wish a few more puzzles could be added to the cooperative segment of the game.

• There was a last-minute puzzle that was added for our team that made the game more challenging but the props used could be confusing to the players in terms of the color strings and post-its. Perhaps that should be clarified somehow.

• A whiteboard would be quite useful in this room as there was a puzzle that had a pretty long sequence.

• The TVs in the room should have been used for some sort of puzzle or cluing. Also, the sound system needs to be louder as we couldn't hear the audio clues.

• One of the clues was displaying a live feed and this could be seen as a red herring to players. We suggest using a pre-recorded video to keep the consistency.

• The ending puzzle needed a "confirmation" sound. We weren't sure if it actually worked or not even though we had followed the instructions.
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

"Prison Break" is Amazing Escape Room Cherry Hill's newest room. It's the most technically advanced room at this location. We like how the creator designed the layout of the room. It made the players feel like they are in an actual jail where they need to break out of their cells first, then come into the guard's office area and then eventually escape to the outside world. The use of physical tools in combination with the technology part of the jailbreak was a nice mix. If you're a fan of "The Shawshank Redemption" or "Escape Plan", then you got to challenge yourself to this room!
