📖 THE STORY

You and your fellow crew members have been wrongfully accused of stealing gold from the infamous pirate captain - David S. Calabaza. As a result, he has thrown you all into his holding cells to await your fate! The only way to save yourselves from an untimely death is to escape the holding cell and find out where the actual thief has hidden the gold and return it to Captain Calabaza before he returns in 60 minutes!!

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• The concept of dividing the group up at the beginning so they have to work together in order to escape was quite unique and worked well with the theme of this game.

• If you have a large group, this room would be perfect as everyone has something to do. There's lots of discoveries to be made and as some people are collecting information, others can be solving puzzles.

• All the props were made to look like we're on a ship. The room was divided nicely into sections and you can actually feel like you're traveling from one space to another.
  

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• One of the puzzles confused us as the coordinates seemed to be mixed up in terms of how we should be reading them.

• There was a puzzle that was changed from the previous setting but the clues were still left on the props so that was definitely a red herring for us.

• One of the sound clues needs to be a bit louder as we had to listen several times but I would imaging with a bigger group it'll be even harder to hear.

• We were able to solve something ahead of time as we had access to the clue but that confused us in terms of the game flow.
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

This room is the most difficult room in this location. There's a lot to do and with a group of two it was even challenging for us. We had one puzzle left before we ran out of time. Some of the red herrings/confusing clues also stumped us a bit. The game master told us that this room is still one of their popular rooms as people do love the challenge and who doesn't love a pirate themed room? Argggg!
