📖 THE STORY

Today you have a very important mission. As you enter the Pen Brush Museum of Modern Art, your eye is set on one prize, The Order of Pen & Brush's sacred Doctrine. This is the key you need in order to be inducted into this secret society and you only have 60 minutes to find it before the museum closes!

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• Perhaps it is because it's a newer room but we certainly appreciated the upkeep and the improvement on the set design. They even added in a pretty roof!

• Different puzzle variations were discovered in this game. We were also able to "divide and conquer" in some occasions.

• The way of "entering" into the latter room was "fun".

• The "way to escape" was different than the ordinary "key escape". We much prefer this type of "mission ending".

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• We were hoping some puzzles could be added into the artwork themselves as it felt like a waste for them to be just decors.

• A prop in this room was very difficult to use. Either the mechanism needs to be replaced or the prop itself needs to be redone.

• There were a lot of color puzzles in this game and this could be quite difficult for players who have issues with colors.

• There is a puzzle where we thought there should be a clue as to where to input the answer. It didn't really have any relevance to why it was supposed to be put there and in that format.

• One of the puzzle clues could be seen as a red herring as there is a physical poster with the same item in the room but we were given a clue paper that had less of a relevance to the puzzle itself. We were quite confused and had to ask for a hint to get clarification. This would be a much better puzzle if the hint was placed on an actual item that was already displayed in the room.

• A puzzle closer to the end was quite confusing as there are multiple ways to solve it.
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

This is a fun room overall. We did feel the "secrecy" as to the hiding place of the doctrine and had a sense of accomplishment when it was found. If you have issues with color puzzles, definitely bring some teammates with you to this room. If they are able to remove some of the red herrings this could be quite solid in terms of game play. We hope the set build for Amazing Escape Room would be more consistent in terms of quality (similar to this one) in the near future.
