This is the third digital game we've played by Deadlocked Escape Rooms. "The Insiders" and "The Cyphstress" have been on our top digital games list for awhile so we're always excited for new games created by them. Their games are always well worth the cost in terms of play time and quality. Most of the time, their games are more geared towards experienced players but this new game would be a great place to start if you are just a beginner puzzler (Although we have an insider's secret for you. If you are a veteran puzzler and want a harder/extended version of this game, add "EX" at the end of your game code).

This game was designed in collaboration with the charity organization Movember. Movember's mission focuses on men’s health on a global scale on issues like mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Throughout the game you'll meet characters from their previous games like T, Wexell Corporation, etc...The story line is based on T being stuck at work but desperately needs his shaver to get ready for Movember. We were sent by him to help his colleague Joey on this important mission.

One thing we love about Deadlocked Escape Room's games is that they are able to take you out of the virtual world with their narratives and visual story telling components that makes you feel like you are in the real world with the character. If you want to know how real those videos are, the creator actually got injured during filming while doing one of those stunts! We love the energy through out the game. Joey, T and Rohin were hilarious characters and I think I spent more time watching the "choice your own adventure" videos rather than playing the puzzles. We tried the extended version of the game and finished in 2 hours (experienced puzzlers can probably finish in shorter amount of time but this is not a game you'll want to rush through). On your adventure, the only things you'll need is Facebook, pen& paper and internet. There will be no need to print anything for this game. If you've played the previous two games before, you'll know that there's always a signature puzzle that'll be harder than the rest and this time it was a visual challenge. Once you've surpass that puzzle, it should be smooth sailing from there. Throughout the game, you'll have a chance to unlock 6 achievements and do note that if you press on anything that states "assistance", it will count as you've used a clue. A final certificate of completion will give you your "score" at the end. Please do stay until the very end of the game for a special appearance by our very own Brandon (Aka InvAsian) and a very catchy song (we think) in the end credits called "Press Pause" - inspired by the Movember movement performed by InvAsian & J. Artiste.

This game could be played as a solo player or as a team. Either way you'll have tons of fun solving puzzles while supporting a good cause and learning about how you can help with global issues. We are thankful for Deadlocked Escape Room & Movember for creating this game and including us in the creation for such a great cause. We hope everyone could support and spread the message to check on your Mo-Bros and Mo-Sisters and see how they are doing during this difficult time and perhaps reconnect and invite them to play a game with you!

Disclosure: We thank Deadlocked Escape Room for providing us with a sample of the game. Although complimentary experience was generously provided, it does not impact our opinion on the review whatsoever.
