🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The puzzle flow was easy to follow by the lighting which highlighted areas that needed to be looked at and solved.

  • The puzzles had no reading or words required to solve so there were no language restrictions to play this game.

  • The room was set up to feel like a starship with the décor, the high-quality props used everywhere and navigating the corridors.

  • The final puzzle was fun to experience. There were multiple endings that could be achieved which was simply implementation, fit into the story cleanly and was well executed.

  • Depending on how well the team scores with time and how many hints taken, you can all earn yourself a discount for a round of drinks, up to a free round.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • There was a great story to be explored but we found it was difficult to understand through the game. We only caught on to the details at the end once we debriefed with the GM. It would have been more fun to discover and learn more of the story throughout the game.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

"The Abduction" had a spaceship and alien themed set that was fun to navigate though. Though not intentionally scary, they had some minor surprises to be found. The puzzle flow was easy to follow and most of the puzzles encouraged teamwork. The highlight was the finale and the multiple endings really made for an exciting finish. We played with 5 of us and found that to be an optimal amount that allowed everyone to be involved and experience everything. Any fans of fun set designs and alien themes would enjoy this room. Whether you set a new room record to get a free round or not, check out the bar after to have a drink and debrief as a group.
