On the edge of the town of Pleasantville, a nice old lady who loves cookies is living in a beautifully decorated house. As you visit her to sell some cookies, she asks you to come inside while she grabs her purse. So, you go inside, but you notice there is something strange in her house. Can you figure out what is happening here?

It was a great way to experience the essence of what Edaqa’s escape online games feels like. The game website was easy and simple to figure out how to use it. The game had a built-in hint system.

First of all, the game was free! Since it was an introductory mini-game, there was only one scene which was a nice ordinary room of an old lady’s house. I loved that it reminded me of the classic point-n-click games which I think is a great way to introduce what the other games that Edaqa offers are like. The interesting story was nicely combined with the classic style and made this entire game more fun and unique even for a short introductory game. Although it only had a single room to play in, there was a good number of puzzles in the room. I enjoyed the different materials in the room that were used to create a wide variety of puzzles. One of the puzzles was a bit confusing because we could not find any indicator of what to do with it. There were some extra components that had nothing to do with puzzles to escape (I believe it is added for fun) also confused us. Other than that, most of the puzzles were straightforward. Overall, it was a fun experience.

"Cookies" was a fun point-n-click puzzle game. Don’t underestimate it just because it is a free game. There was a good amount of puzzles and an interesting story to enjoy. This game is a great introductory game to know what Edaqa’s Room can offer. So, why don’t you visit the old lady and try the tasty “Cookies"?
