Ambrose Hall, a brilliant clockmaker will do whatever it takes to end a curse that has bestowed upon his daughter Abigail. In order to do so, he built a puzzle box specifically designed for her. Inside is a fail-safe that will stop the clock that has unleashed this curse and return the time that was stolen from her. In order for Abigail to succeed, Ambrose has sent the other part of the puzzle box to someone outside the house in order to prevent the dark influences from inside obtaining it. Together, Abigail and whomever finds the other box will have to figure out how to stop the clock in "Apart in Time: A Whispering Halls Adventure"!!

"Apart in Time: A Whispering Halls Adventure" is based on Enchambered's escape room - "The Whispering Halls" in which the mansion that Ambrose built for his wife and young daughter was plagued by sickness and death after it's completion in 1890.

Much like the other multiplayer virtual escape rooms offered by Enchambered, "Apart in Time: A Whispering Halls Adventure" is a two-player game that's played together online. These games were designed to build teamwork and communication by presenting both players with different interactive screens that they need to work together to solve. In this multiplayer spooky adventure, one player is playing the role of Abigail Hall who's trapped in time inside her cursed house while the other player's role is helping her stop the clock that's responsible.

First, you will need to purchase a license key in which you will share with the other player and start the game here. Next, set up a phone call or video chat. Whichever you prefer just as long as you both can communicate with each other. Then you have have the option to decide who will be player 1 and who will be player 2. Next, you will each have a different screen that will allow you to interact with to relay information over to the other player. I highly recommend that you describe exactly what you're seeing as detailed as possible. In order to successfully finish the game, both players need to see the "You escaped" screen (if you escape, make sure you still communicate with the other player so they can finish also).

I've always enjoyed the puzzles from Enchambered because they're cleverly designed to encourage communication between players. There are always things to examine and be aware of when searching, so letting your team-mate know exactly what you find is key. You never know, it could be information that they need to solve something. Similar to the previous games, each player has their own unique screen which requires searching and investigating. It's crazy how they manage to present clues right in front of you without even being noticed.

We have always been fans of the games from Enchambered. We still remember our first experience playing "Alone Together" and "Alone Together 2: Together Apart" back in 2020. It was one of the first games that we played that where we each had something completely different on our screen. I particularly enjoyed "Apart in Time" because of the added spookiness to it. I actually felt like these boxes contained something supernatural inside and we were dealing with spectral activity.
