📖 THE STORY

Dunedin Prison was closed in 2007 and it seems like Dr. William, who researched

viruses, had something to do with the closure. Your mission is to sneak into Dr.

William’s office, solve all the mysteries and traps he had hidden, and find out about

Patient Zero, the only prisoner who escaped. Can you figure out what happened at the

prison, find the identity of Patient Zero, and escape safely from his office?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • I loved the puzzles that made sense when I solved them. They fit well with the theme and story. The size of the room was relatively small, but good numbers of puzzles were there. I enjoyed solving various types of puzzles, such as simple riddles and more complex logic puzzles.

  • The game started in an ordinary office, but the fact that this place was a facility of the old prison added extra spookiness along with the terrifying story of the game (at least for me!).

  • The game master watching us over the video camera showed the hints on the computer screen. It was easy to understand what the game master was trying to tell without revealing the answer, and I could read again when I needed it.

  • The game master explained safety precautions well to protect things inside this historical place and players.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • I cannot think of anything.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

“Outbreak” was a thrilling and fun escape room to face the evil and madness of Dr. William in the office of the old prison. The story and puzzles nicely matched the facility of the prison. Although nothing suddenly jumped in and scared me, the game was quite creepy in a good way. This game is for people who love mystery and thrillers and for people who don't mind blood and fake body parts. This game is a sequel to “Contagion”, but you do not need to play the first one beforehand. When you visit Dunedin Prison, why don’t you try finding out what happened in this place?
