After purchasing the game, you'll receive a 14 page PDF. Inside, you'll find beautiful colored graphics of various characters and references from Alice in Wonderland. If you are looking to save ink then there's really only 3 pages that you'll need to print out for puzzle purposes.
Follow the instruction page at the start of the game so you'll know how to proceed forward. Once you solve a puzzle, it should lead you to a location. Use the map to keep in track which character and which location goes with each other. If you get stuck, there's a clue and solution page at the end. You'll need a mirror to read it since it has been printed in mirror image in order to avoid spoilers.

If you are going to play the game the right way, it's best to print out all the pages as the location (which is what you're trying to figure out as the solution for each puzzle) is printed on the top of each page. You might see the solutions as you scroll down the PDF accidentally. Some solutions were also placed right after one another so it's best to print it and mix the pages up.
The puzzles were not too difficult especially for a group of enthusiasts. Some were really fast to spot by utilizing "tools" that were provided and some took sometime to decoding. The reveals for a few that required folding could be really exciting for kids to discover. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that there was actually a meta puzzle at the end.

"Alice in Wonderland" has always been one of my favorite animations. The characters are so unique and weird that you are immediately bought into a fantasy world. The graphics really helped to bring this game to live. The puzzles were simple but very straightforward. There were no red herrings or logic leaps. We had a lot of fun taking turns reading the various characters in different voices over Zoom. Although we're all adults, this game really bought the "inner kid" out of us.

Printable puzzles/escapes are pretty much my favourite type after physical boxes through the mail, as you actually get to handle and manipulate items for real rather than just clicking around on a screen. Solving them together over zoom etc or just with family is a great way to spend some time.
I loved the theme of Alice in Wonderland for this one, and the document itself is a beauty to behold. Amazing illustrations and colours. I wouldn't blame you printing the lot, if you want to stay screen free, but if you're happy to do the rest on screen then you only need to print 3 of the total pages. If you have a device that allows you to draw on documents like a touchscreen, you will have an edge here.
I didn't read the instructions properly but luckily my teammates did. You don't work through each age in a linear progression so do make sure to follow the instructions carefully.
There was a lovely variety of puzzles, all which point you via the answer to the next location (page) - and the next puzzle. The difficulty was fairly low (but not all too easy), so this would be a great game for families or newbies to the genre, but we enjoyed them even so. A nice mix of logic, wordplay and physical manipulation that kept us engaged and enchanted. The final puzzle is so clever and really gave us a pleasant surprise and feeling of satisfaction.
A fabulous game for a rainy day or for a themed birthday or other event maybe!
