📖 THE STORY

Dr. Smith, the famous archaeologist who devoted his life to discovering the treasure of Pharaoh Khufu in Egypt, has gone missing for months. You are unsure if Dr. Smith has found the treasure or not. But now you start to believe it may be true that Pharaoh Khufu has returned since you are locked in Dr. Smith’s study! Can you find out what happened to Dr. Smith and escape from the curse of Pharaoh Khufu?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

I liked how the game flowed from beginning to end. It had a thrilling twist and surprise. The entire space for the game was not that big. Yet, each room had a different atmosphere to make the story more dramatic. The decor of the rooms looked polished. I felt immersed in the game.
There were various types of puzzles in this game. Those fit the Egyptian or archaeological theme nicely. I enjoyed one mechanical gimmick that was eye-catching.
I loved how the game master introduced the room to us. We closed our eyes, and the game master guided us into the room. I enjoyed the first Wow! moment when I opened my eyes at the beginning of the game.
There was a guiding character only with a voice that gave us probably pre-recorded hints. Although it didn’t work well for us this time, the hint system helps to keep players immersed in the world.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

It would be nice if a small flashlight was available for those who have difficulty seeing in a dim room.
I appreciated the hint system that kept us immersed in the game. Yet, I wish there was an option to communicate with the game master directly to receive the specific hint that we needed.

“Entombed” was a fun and thrilling Egyptian-themed escape room. There were plenty of puzzles to solve in this game. It might start with the ordinary study of archaeologists. Still, it gets more exciting as the game unfolds. This game is perfect for family and friends.
