Legend has it that there is a very special treasure to be found somewhere inside - and you want it! But itās not going to be easy to find, and the house is very protective of its contents. šÆ HIT THE BULLSEYE
A very quaint living room in a 1920s mansion is your first port of call. Vintage furniture, artwork and decorations are perfectly chosen to make this room seem of a bygone era.
This room has the most amazingly clever mechanisms and twists and turns. Literally!
The puzzles in here are physical manipulations, information hunting and communication. Very good communication is required between team members which adds to the feeling of co-operation.
There is a nice flow to the room and you can see what progress you have made via very obvious means.
Puzzles include some clever use of objects that I hadnāt come across before in a room. Think outside of the box!
š§© MISSED THE MARK
Many of the triggers for a successful solve require the GM to manually activate something, and to progress you sometimes have to wait a short time to move on, where you might feel youāre not making progress. In their most difficult room, this feels like a hinderance, especially with so much to be done. If you are not on track though, hints will be delivered to you to make sure you are not falling behind time.
You can hear their horror room - Butcher - being played next door. We never heard anyone actually scream but it could be a bit off-putting if they did!

š¹ TAKE A SHOT?
Working together is key here - there was more than enough to keep 3 of us busy together at times. Two player teams may struggle. Make sure you examine everything thoroughly - we suffered a little from seeing what looked like a puzzle and then diving in, without looking at the bigger picture first to see how things could be connected. This room is very quaint and fun - anyone should enjoy this room especially if you love retro and vintage style. Not really one for kids - the puzzles are difficult and require understanding of old technology which young ones will probably find baffling! As mentioned on the site and in the briefing, anyone who suffers any sort of motion sickness, vertigo or instability would probably not enjoy this room.
