📖 THE STORY

Dr. Walter Brandt is a prominent chemical weapons expert working for the United States government within a clandestine division identified only by a cryptic code. Dr. Brandt's groundbreaking research has attracted the attention of foreign nations, who have lured him to develop a lethal virus capable of swiftly killing their adversaries. Having gone rogue, he now poses a threat to the US and potentially humanity as a whole. As a team of scientists exploring Dr. Brandt's deserted laboratory, your mission is to locate the sole known antidote to virus TS-51 before it falls into enemy hands.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • Upon our entrance into the lab, an urgent message began to play, immediately conveying the importance of our mission.

  • The decor perfectly complemented the atmosphere of a clandestine laboratory filled with hidden mysteries.

  • We particularly enjoyed the multi-step deduction puzzle in this game, as its content and logical reasoning were coherent.

  • Instead of a "key escape," the finale was mission-oriented, and we found great satisfaction in successfully completing it.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • It would be beneficial to remove decorations that could be seen as red-herrings.

  • The 60-minute room seems to lack sufficient puzzles. Had we not come across some perplexing clues, I would have anticipated making our escape sooner.

  • Some puzzle inputs lacked clear directions, causing confusion about the correct order (left to right or right to left).

  • An image used as a clue was unclear regarding the quantity it referred to. Additionally, one of the clues was hard to see.

  • An image clue clearly indicated a specific input amount, but the lock did not correspond to the solution.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

The set design and special effects in the room truly stood out as remarkable aspects of the experience. The attention to detail and creativity in creating an immersive environment were commendable, adding a layer of excitement to the overall atmosphere.

However, while these elements shone brightly, the puzzles presented a different challenge. It was evident that some puzzles lacked the finesse needed to seamlessly integrate into the game. The flow of the game seemed disrupted at times, requiring a smoother transition between tasks to enhance the overall gameplay. There were instances where the inputs provided did not align well with the puzzle clues, leading to confusion and a sense of disconnect for the players. Moreover, one particular puzzle proved to be excessively intricate, posing a significant hurdle in terms of interpretation and completion. In comparison to their previous Antidote game, some players may find themselves longing for the familiarity and satisfaction that the older game offered.
