🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
The set design was beautiful. As soon as we embarked on the train, we feel like it was actually moving. It was refreshing to see the changes as we go through the train cars.
The props and furniture were well maintained. Everything felt brand new.
There were a mixture of deduction, logic, Math and physical puzzles in this room, giving us an opportunity to divide and conquer.
As we got closer to the end, we felt the sense of urgency. You really can't brute force the answer here so make sure you have time to read through all the evidence. Breaking out at the last minute made the victory felt even sweeter.
The ending task provided a nice closure.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
One of the keys had to be reused for another lock. There are also empty slots that caused some confusion as we weren't sure why we had to use that key again and why the first drawer we looked into was empty.
There's a location where we had to examine evidence in a glass display. The lighting there makes it pretty difficult to read. A spotlight in the area would be very helpful.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
We've played "Budapest Express" at Escapology's Garwood location in New Jersey and this room had a similar layout but the puzzles and set design has been completed redesigned. This game has more of a "Clue" type of feeling especially when it comes to deducing the murderer at the end. The organization of the evidence and motive was more clearly presented. This game is definitely an upgrade from "Budapest Express". We can see the added embellishments to the props, storyline and characters. If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes or any type of crime investigation show, you'll feel like a real detective in this room. And if you have more time (the temptation from the shopping mall and the beach is REAL), check out their other rooms (they have 6 other games here!). We played "7 Deadly Sins" here as well. If you have difficulty at making your selection, check out our sneak peek video above to find what suits your liking!

ℹ️ ADDITIONAL INFO
Street parking is going to be very difficult as Escapology is located in a mall complex right by the beach. Use the parking lot behind the facility. Park on the 3rd floor and Escapology should be right at the entrance. Elevator available. Lobby with plenty of seating. Merchandise for sale. Party room available.
