📖 THE STORY
Last night was a blur... You and your buddies were in Las Vegas celebrating the soon-to-be groom's bachelor party! However, with all of you three sheets to the wind, you step foot inside the wrong casino and started to gamble and flirt with the owner's wife.. As the conversation continued, you eventually spill the beans about having your best friend's wedding rings in your possession. Unfortunately, luck isn't on your side and you ran out of cash. Wasted and desperate to win your money back, she persuaded you to put the rings up as collateral and presented you with a challenge to get them back. She's hid them in the penthouse of the casino and you have one hour to find them before her husband - Tommy "The Steel Pipe" Franklin (owner of the casino) gets back!

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
For awhile now, I've been waiting for a "Hangover"/ "Memento" type game where the player can't remember what happened and has to work backwards to complete the objective. This is as close as I've seen it done and it was creatively orchestrated. The storyline was definitely unique and allowed the player to relate to the situation.
Vegas Hangover's set design really captured the fun elements of being in a casino (with various games) and the "secrets" hidden within.
When it comes to the puzzles, Escapology delivers the fun aspect of it. You definitely get to exercise that brain of yours with the obstacles in there. Without giving away too much, my favorite part was the way they created the "re-gaining your memories" puzzle. It was poetic and cleverly implemented.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
Although the puzzles for "Vegas Hangover" were fun to solve and work through, there were a couple in there that I felt could've been more creative. There were a few props in there especially were designed to be "played" on as a gambler but we didn't really use it much for puzzle elements.
One puzzle was quite confusing in the wording in terms of what the code could be as there were similar clues near by
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
If you are looking for a fun room with a unique storyline and surprise reveal at the end, this room is for you! This room involves some searching and attention to detail. Definitely recommend for a group of friends to play. A bachelor party would be quite fitting actually so the Best Man knows what "not" to do!
