🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
There were a lot of puzzles and a large range of puzzle difficulty. It was nice to get some quick wins to keep the experience moving and some puzzles that made us think as well. The puzzles also ramped up properly starting with some easier ones at the start.
The design of the room fit the witch’s theme well with a wooden like interior, a cauldron, shelves of potions and more.
The puzzles blended in with the environment with a lot fitting into the witch’s theme.
There were a few props that were such nice quality and fun to interact with, such as the cauldron and fireplace.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
Nothing stood out as missing the mark as this was a solid game.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
"The Magic Crystal" was a solid game with a great set design and well-designed puzzles. This was the owner’s first solo designed room, and it was an enjoyable experience with a mix of combination locks, tech and fantastic props. This room would be a great introduction to escape rooms for new players. We played with 8 people and found it was getting cramped at times. 4 people would be ideal with 6 being the maximum. Any fans of fantasy, magic or beginners to escape rooms would enjoy this room.
