📖 THE STORY

You are a team of supernatural investigators who have been employed to enter an old

abandoned mansion in search of an ancient artifact. The only problem is, the spirits within aren’t too happy you are there. Can you find the artifact before the spirits tire of your presence and condemn you to an eternity locked in the house?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• GAME OVER has created an immersive haunted experience that fits nicely in the ‘spooky’ category vs. ‘horror’, which, I believe, makes this a more accessible room for those who don’t like to be too scared.

• The house consists of five professionally decorated spaces with thoughtful and well-placed props that help create a dark, desperate, atmosphere. The last space you enter was our favorite of them all (no spoilers).

• For the most part, we appreciated the puzzles. Many focused on the occult and even drew inspiration from the story by focusing on the family members who used to live here.

• Whilst there was no actor inside there were a couple of electronics, which created numerous jumpy moments throughout.

• Fantastic customer service from all the staff we encountered. Each was welcoming and eager for us to have a fun time.
  

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• As mentioned, for the most part we enjoyed all the puzzles inside, I particularly enjoyed the trickiness and logic behand the last puzzle, however the rationale with one dice puzzle should perhaps be revisited since the solution is not found where you would logically expect it and thus you find yourself questioning and altering your methodology. There was one other puzzle involving a sequence of numbers, which caused confusion, we ended up guessing possible solutions multiple times before eventually stumbling across the correct code.
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

We recommend this room for enthusiasts that don’t mind playing alongside things that go ‘bump in the night’ and who revel in the thought of a room with primarily logic based puzzles.

ℹ️ ADDITIONAL INFO

• There is limited free parking directly in front of the door.

• There is a very light use of a smoke machine and lasers at the beginning but nothing after that.

• There is a large lobby with lockers, couches, and tables

• All the rooms are above the ground floor. There is an elevator if needed.

• This is not a wheelchair friendly game due to one occasion of having to crawl.

• We were offered free small bottled water.

• There is a Tim Hortons store directly next door.
