Once you purchase the game, an email with clear instructions on "how to play' the game will be sent to your mailbox. There's a PDF file that you'll need to print out in advance which contains clues to the puzzles. As experienced puzzlers, we're able to come up with the answers without the printouts but we recommend to give the kids the full experience as they'll be more excited when they can visualize the reveals.
Your entire team can use one login but everyone will be progressing at the same time which means if one player types in an answer, it'll update for everybody. If you want to play the game at your own speed, it's best to purchase your own game code. The great thing about this game is that if you ever want to play it all over again, you can just clean your computer's cache and restart the game from the beginning as there's no time limit or expiration.

Since this game was designed for kids, we actually had a few of them join us for this session. It was great to be able to see how different kids were able to conceptualize a puzzle versus adults. For some puzzles they were able to solve it much faster than we did.
The platform was very clean and easy to use. You will not encounter multiple tabs as everything was designed within the game itself. Once you solve the puzzle and enter the right code, the next puzzle will reveal right underneath the previous one. We encountered deciphering, searching, differentiating, and visualizing type of puzzles throughout the game. The 3D interface was really cool. We were hoping to see that being utilized a bit more. If you get stuck, hints and solutions were build into the interface.

Got a Quest designed this game to be like a storybook. As we solved each puzzle, we felt like we were following the robbers next move by flipping to the next page. The graphics were really cute and quirky. Kids will have a blast using their brain powers to solve this mystery. To make it more fun, you should definitely make this into a family challenge night. Think you're smarter than a fifth grader?
** We regret to inform this company has closed its doors.
Disclosure: We thank Got a Quest for comping our tickets for this game. Although a complimentary experience was generously provided, it does not impact our opinion on the review whatsoever.
