📖 THE STORY

Uncle Cornelius is Trippolyte’s little brother and, contrary to his brother, is a very adventurous person. When he was young, he traveled around the world, looking for more and more exciting and thrilling adventures! Now that he retired, he welcomes any traveler who stops by the Grand Trip Trap Hotel with his wonderful stories. Are you ready to embark?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • This is one of the biggest rooms I have ever played in: more than 200m² (~250m² if I recall correctly, but I’m not 100% sure) and all the space has been cleverly used to maximize the experience, there is no dead spot.

  • You are LITERALLY in Uncle Cornelius’ house, the scenery is outstanding, it is truly realistic and the way you navigate from a room to another to take part in the adventure is very well designed!

  • The game is paced with regular surprises and “wooooow” effects so the adrenaline never drops and you are always entertained.

  • There are so many things to do, you just keep having fun and ask for more! We were 4 players but I think even with 6 players it should be totally fine.

  • All the puzzles and riddles are very well integrated to the game.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • Nothing. Seriously...

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

I may be quoting a copyright infringement from a particular brand but: Just Do It! This escape room is easily in my top 3 (and I have played more than 300 rooms so far). I tried to find some drawbacks to this room and just couldn’t find any. I was amazed from the start to the very end, Trip Trap succeeded in transporting us in another world and another time during 90 minutes and this is just priceless.

ℹ️ ADDITIONAL INFO

  • No parking at the venue: you can either find a spot in the commercial center in Carouge nearby or find a spot in the street around

  • Trip Trap asks to arrive 15 mins in advance if possible so you can enjoy the full experience

  • Pregnant women can take part to the adventure (if not too close to the term) and a chair can be installed by the game master upon request for comfort. For people with physical disabilities, unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchairs and people with crutches

  • This room is not recommended for people who suffer from claustrophobia or people who are afraid in the dark.

  • You can order drinks and hot beverages at the Catalpa Bar: teas, coffees, sodas, wine, beers, cocktails and eat some bagels, assortments of cheese and charcuterie. The bartender and waiters are adorable and cocktails taste amazing! The bar in itself is also very well decorated.

  • Toilets are available (and very funny if you understand french)
