📖 THE STORY

Collaborate with Dr. Edward Filmor and his unusual laboratory to complete his monstrous experiments and revive these entities! Time is running out as you strive to bring all 4 monsters back to life before the blood moon vanishes and the preserving chemicals deplete within the hour. Successfully resurrecting these creatures will grant you the ability to unleash chaos and wreak havoc, bringing Mayhem to the world.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• The humorous interaction between the GM and the animatronic mad scientist at the start set a delightful tone for the upcoming adventure.

• We also had a fantastic "4D" experience in this game once again, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

• The various methods used to depict the 4 monsters revival were cleverly integrated into various puzzles to solve, but the real thrill came from witnessing the "performance" of their resurrection, with Frankenstein being our personal favorite.

• This room is ideal for groups who enjoy dividing tasks and conquering them efficiently. Its ample space allows for simultaneous work on multiple elements.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• Some of the solutions seemed too obvious, almost like giveaways rather than puzzles, causing enthusiast players like us to overlook them due to overthinking.

• The Game Master had pr-typed clues that caused difficulty to answer to our specific queries, eventually opting to just provide us with the solutions.

• Some of the physical locks were challenging to open due to the mechanism at the back. It would also be beneficial to provide a "connection" between the lock and its solution, rather than relying on trial and error.

• One of the colored props could mislead players into thinking it was related to a different color puzzle in the room.

• A counting puzzle was perhaps the most challenging one in the room, as it was difficult to verify the solution.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

We are particularly excited to check out this room as "Monster Mayhem", given its prestigious title, is the recipient of the 2021 Silver Player's Choice Bullseye Award. The level of craftsmanship evident in the animatronics within this space truly sets a new standard in the industry. The resurrection of the iconic character Frankenstein left us spellbound, with each movement and detail eliciting a sense of awe throughout our experience.

The incorporation of various special effects, such as atmospheric fogs, dynamic visual displays, and captivating light effects, created an immersive environment that engaged all our senses. The combination of these elements resulted in a sensory overload that heightened the overall thrill of the adventure.

While the puzzles in this room may be tailored towards beginner players, emphasizing observation over analysis, we found that as enthusiasts, our tendency to overanalyze actually posed a greater challenge.

Be Prepare to be transported into a world where the boundaries between fiction and reality blur, and the thrill of discovery awaits at every turn.
