One of the biggest reasons that we created “ESCAPETHEROOMers” was to work w/ escape room enthusiasts – players and developers! We are always honored to meet w/ developers that are passionate about what they do and value our opinions and suggestions; especially when we get invited to beta-test. Today, we are meeting w/ the owner & developer of “Escape Games Bonaire” and beta-testing his first game titled - "The Missing Piece". Usually, escape games involve players to be confined inside of a room attempting to get out within a certain time period. This game is more like a treasure hunt w/ escape game challenges. You are outside for the majority of the time and a vehicle is mandatory in order to play (we highly recommend that you have a vehicle, not a Moped/ Vespa or scooter). You start off w/ finding a treasure chest which you will have to keep with you for throughout the game. Since Kralendjik, Bonaire is such a beautiful island, outdoor gameplay was an added bonus for us. We are not sure how much time will be allotted when the game officially launches to the public but we managed to finish within an hour. The concept of the game was definitely unique for obvious reasons. The puzzles were fun and interesting to tackle and we’ve been told that the designs are going to be upgraded prior to launch. Overall, we believe that with a proper game title and finalized puzzle designs, “Escape Games Bonaire” is going to be a “Thing To Do” in Kralendijk, Bonaire!
