📖 THE STORY

After years of researching, we finally found an ancient dig that could potentially contain "The Grail". The bad news is that no one has ever made it out from the dig. Will we be the first?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• The initial entrance felt like a bunker but we’re glad to see that there were further surprises as we proceeded on with the game.  The scenery changes went smoothly with the story development.

• The props used in the room were fitting for that era and it felt authentic in terms of quality.

• There were a few logic puzzles pleasing to solve as they were incorporated within the story line.
  

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• The lighting element was great for the ambience, but it made the reading a little difficult.  Perhaps a protective helmet with a light would add a bit of character for the players but also help with reading puzzles.

• There was a delay with triggering a puzzle in the latter part of the game. We had to take the pieces off and place it back on a few times before it could work properly. There were no clear markings as to how precise they had to be.

• The reveal of a puzzle piece was quite slow. Since this is quite important for a reveal, it would’ve been nice to see either music or sound being added for the dramatic finish.
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

This is a great room for medieval fans who loves a bit of a dungeon atmosphere. The puzzles were not particularly difficult and if you don’t mind a bit of reading, you will enjoy this room as the story unfolds. Besides the usual “slow trigger” issues at Amazing Escape Room Bloomfield, this is by far, our favorite location and games of theirs. Since they cover 4 different types of genres here ranging from sci-fi, western, medieval, and fantasy, I’m sure you’re bound to find something that tickles your fancy.
