📖 THE STORY

There is a Dead & Breakfast investigation and Terror Talk's paranormal podcast is seeking assistance. It seems that the guests that are checking in... never check out! Are you able to find out what's going on and uncover the secrets of the Elm Suite inside "Lady T's Dead & Breakfast"?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• The fact that this escape room situates inside a retail shop that sells haunted dolls and horror related props already set the tone for what's to come in the escape room before we even enter

• The co-creator of the escape room actually investigates paranormal activity as his real job so he definitely added some of his own takes on what a creepy narrative should be right from the beginning. The entire experience delivers an eerie ambience from beginning to end. After you check-in (debriefed), you are escorted into the waiting area and the game begins...

• The backstory leaves you questioning how much of what you're about to witness is based off of true facts. The conviction in the storytelling begins to play with your mind.

• Because the space is smaller than most other escape rooms, the set design was cleverly utilized. The lighting and sound easily captured some jump scare moments from us (no worries, there's no live actors).
  

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• One of the puzzles in the game didn't go with the storyline. We are not sure why those props and lock was used as it took away from the eerie vibe. It was also a fairly tricky lock that we haven't seen elsewhere before that could be quite difficult to operate in dim lighting. The puzzle itself also took a bit of a logic leap.

• There are various moments when you'll experience some strobe lighting with dim lighting so just make sure you are comfortable with that before booking your game

• There was one cool usage of a tech that we've seen one other company use in a paranormal room before. However the answer reveal was not so clear and this is also one of the reason why we were not able to escape the room (although the spirits probably did their part too especially when they were trying to prove the accuracy of their prediction).
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

If you're a fan of "Ghost Hunters" or curious about paranormal activity, then take a visit to "Lady T's Dead & Breakfast"! There's a good amount of details that players needed to spot in dim lighting so make sure to bring a teammate with good eyesight! Be sure to learn more about the "special guests" in the store section at the front. If you're lucky, you might catch the dolls on a happy day! Perhaps you might even want take one home with you?
