Lock Paper Scissor currently offers 4 DIY Escape Game Kits: Envy, The Lost Mummy, Rebel Revolt, and Escape Room Z. They also offer a couple of free ones as well on their website. We've tried all of them but decided to focus a review on this game. The concept for all the games were quite similar. The puzzles were not difficult and their main focus was on the story line. There were a lot of graphics which could be printed out as props to be used for an escape party. When you purchase the game, you'll receive a folder with files like game setup, prop printouts, game pieces, etc...

The level of difficulty for the puzzles felt like they were mainly meant for kids. There were two games that adults could give it a shot: Escape Room Z (mainly because of the Zombie theme) and Envy. Out of the 4 games, "Envy" had the most puzzle and was the "hardest" one out of them. Since we couldn't really invite guests over due to COVID, our review was mainly based on the puzzles and design. For this game we actually did not need to print out any pages and was able to visualize all the puzzles on the computer. The puzzles were formed by several mini ones that ultimately gave us a meta puzzle for the ending story which went well with the murder mystery. It was a fun quick 30 minutes for us. We think the game would've been a lot more entertaining if we were able to host a murder mystery dress up party (since there were props you're able to print out like mustaches, masks, monocles, etc...). If you are considering hosting a party to celebrate after all this craziness is over, this could be a fun event to do with friends and family.

(If you do decide to try this game, please remember to let them know that you heard it from"ESCAPETHEROOMers"!)

Disclosure: We thank Lock Paper Scissors for providing us with a sample of the game. Although a complimentary experience was generously provided, it does not impact our opinion on the review whatsoever.
