Somehow you ended up in the Black Forest in Germany. You've came up to a familiar yet very peculiar house. There was a girl by the name of Gretel and a boy by the name of Hansel that was staying at the house with an old crone. Something terrible has happened and you only have an hour to figure it out!

Our GM, Amanda welcomed us over Zoom. She quickly realized that we're a bunch of people that revolve our lives around solving puzzles and so she went straight to the game. Accompanied by her enchanted voice, we immediately immersed ourselves into this fairy tale world.

We've learned from the first game we've played with LuCo Online Escape Rooms that we're big fans of their graphics and this game amazed us in the same way. The first image gave us detailed depiction of inside the house where we're able to interact with various objects by telling the GM which one we would want to take a closer look. Some images could be enlarged and those were the ones that we needed to pay attention to. Our GM did not let us waste our time on irrelevant information. The goal of this game was not your typical escape with a lock and key type but more of a detective vibe, As we searched for clues and solved puzzles, we're able to determine the who, where, what and why.

There were a lot of fun items that you and your team would be able to explore in this game. Some might even make you very hungry...Our GM was very creative with her comebacks that made us laugh throughout the game. She also gave us moments where we're able to take on some role playing as well by reading out clues ourselves. I can just imagine the fun the kids would have in this game especially if they get into character.

The puzzles were not as challenging being that we're 5 fairly experienced puzzlers so we finished in 40 minutes. If you're good at paying attention to detail and associating items together, you've already won half of the battle. Teamwork is very important and don't be afraid to try everything! Nothing is too weird in audio escape games. The sky is the limit!

This is yet another very satisfying experience for our team. LuCo Online Escape Rooms games strives to make their games to perfection by hiring professional voice actors, talented graphic designers and brilliant puzzle creators. At the end of the game, we really felt like we walked out of a fairy tale book with our happy ending. We can't wait to report back once we try their newest room "Basement & Barbarians"!
