📖 THE STORY

We were recruited by Bubba’s cousin to steal something precious of Bubba's after his backyard BBQ ended. Will we be able to complete the mission before Bubba comes back?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • Love the innovative idea and storyline. It was refreshing to play our very first backyard BBQ themed escape room. The change of scenery made us forget we were in the lower level of a building. Let’s just say there’s a lot more that remains to be seen than the sneak peek video on our YouTube video.

  • The add-ins of some whimsical moments into the puzzles were quite enjoyable. We had a nice chuckle at the ending.

  • Character voice usage for the hint system was a great addition to the theme of the room.

  • Lots of different variations of puzzles types but were all well connected with the plot.

  • The attention to detail that was added to the dĂŠcor of the room was appreciated. Being that the owner is an escape room enthusiasts herself, you can see the difference on how she see's everything from the players’ perspective.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • There were a few decorations that felt “unfinished”. The owner has stated that she is working on finishing them. We felt a few decors could be changed out with props that fit the storyline better.

  • Perhaps smell could be added to intensify the sensory element in a BBQ themed room.

  • There weren’t as many physical puzzles as we would’ve hoped to see in certain areas of the room which would’ve add more “fun” to the room.

  • We found one prop a bit misleading since we didn’t use a component of it. Perhaps that could be swapped out as it was also giving other possible answers to other unsolved puzzles for us.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

We had so much fun in this room. We definitely think families and kids would enjoy this room a lot. This room gave us that similar feeling we had when we played the room “Gold Rush” at The Escape Game. The Escape Game obviously has bigger budgets to spend on the construction of their games, but these local owners achieved the similar kind of excitement for us even though the room was entirely built by themselves. We recommend a group of 3–6 as an ideal number for this room.

Did you include ALL of them?
