📖 THE STORY

As an aspiring novelist, your friend Connor's current book is based on serial killers. Reportedly, he's discovered a lead on the Zodiac Killer and is determined to look into it for his research. His informant provided him with a junkyard address somewhere in a small midwestern town. Six months have passed and you have not heard from Connor. The police aren't able to assist, so you venture off to investigate the junkyard yourself. By the time you arrive, it's dark and there's storm approaching fast. With no time to waste, you begin to search for your friend...

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • Honestly, the storyline for "Wrecked" has all the ingredients to make a great thriller movie! There was so many unexpected twists in this story that we literally could not predict the ending! Every bit of this game felt like a masterpiece (no pun intended) and that's why they won a "Best Overall" Bullseye Award!

  • The set design was cleverly constructed throughout the entire game. Without giving away any spoilers, Masterpiece Escapes got extremely creative with the material that they decided to use. In the junkyard section, there was flashes of lightning in the ceiling which was covered by clouds creating the effect of the storm brewing. The others, you'll have to play in order to find out...

  • "Wrecked" had a really nice game-flow and all of the puzzles were cleverly designed to enhance the experience! Some puzzles in this room were linear and some were not. This really allowed us to divide and conquer but also come together as a team. There was a wide variety of puzzle challenges - physical, cooperative, logical, etc.

  • The ending was incredible and totally unexpected! Just when you thought you were done...Hence, why it would make a great movie!

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • Absolutely nothing. We enjoyed the entire experience and didn't want it to end!

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

Masterpiece Escapes is one of those gems that you discover and can't wait to go back and play all of their games!! It's one of the reasons why we created ESCAPETHEROOMers. To shine a little light on a company that the rest of the world needs to know about. They put a lot of thought & creativity into their games and it should not go unrecognized (check out our interview video above to learn more). They currently have (5) games available - "Metro Mayhem", "Drained", " The Deadwood Saloon", "Missing" and "Wrecked" (which is their newest game) so you'll definitely find the genre that you're looking for.

"There's a reason we'd heard such great things about "WRECKED"! Some unique puzzles, and we really loved how they fit the theme, particularly at the end. As with their other games, they do a fabulous job of enhancing the experience with their sets and audio. Definitely recommended." - Dave Bristol
