📖 THE STORY
We thought our neighborhood was safe again when we escaped Saul’s dungeon and forced him from his home. A recent video just emerged and it seemed like “the butcher” has returned! We must check out his house for the safety of the community…
🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
Right when we entered the room, I felt a chill down my spine. The set design brought us into a horror film. The lighting was good enough to see the clues but also dim enough to be frightening.
The eerie atmosphere made it really easy to create “jump scares”. Most of the time it was done by myself to me, my teammate to me, and “something else” to me. Great job everyone!
The developer did an awesome job at building hidden elements in this room. We had many “wow” moments during our journey.
This room had the best organ props we’ve seen in an escape room. It felt so real I had to thoroughly wash my hands after.
We enjoyed the creativity of the puzzles that involved conquering your fears. If you want to solve the puzzles and escape, you must be willing to take that step. This would be a great room to help conquer and overcome personal phobias.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
One puzzle was difficult to find, even with the clue given (we couldn’t interpret what it meant since we were unsure how the mechanism worked). We had to eventually use a hint.
Size could be an issue for one of the puzzles since it had to be done in a pretty tight space, but most teams probably will have one teammate that could accomplish this task.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
This is a sequel to Saul’s Dungeon. Although ,we didn't play the prequel, we are pretty sure it was a chilling experience based on this game. Horror fans, you are in for a treat! As for scaredy-cats like me, I prepared myself with some strategy the night before. I thought if I just always put my back to the walls at all times, I should be safe! All I can say is… “best of luck”!
