📖 THE STORY
We have been recruited by the Department of Metaphysical Enterprises to investigate works of Dr. Ian. He has created a machine and its classified as Top Secret operations. We need to find out what he’s working on as it may be an endangerment to earth.
🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
The ceiling height was pretty high in this facility. This made the room feel really spacious. We felt like we were entering a spaceship.
The surprising turnover of events at the end created a fun ending.
Enjoyable story line and it was entertaining to discover the development through the puzzles.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
One game piece was designed a bit too high for me (I’m 5 ft). It was not easy for me to see or reach. Perhaps a bit more enforcement on the “visual” would help.
Since there was already a prop in the room that was utilized earlier in the game, it would be great to use that as a hint system to enhance the immersive experience.
Not sure if there could be any add-ons, but if hidden elements could be implemented that could create some “wow” moments.
The walkie talkie was not working that well in the room. At times we couldn’t hear the hints. The hints could also be explained better from the game master.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
Be prepared to be good at Math! All jokes aside, this is probably the second hardest Math question I’ve seen in an escape room. Dr. Ian was definitely working on something complicated. This room needed a good amount of people if you haven’t done escape rooms before. It’s also semi-linear but the room is large enough for some exploration to be done individually. Our recommended size would be 4-5 people. You’ll enjoy this room if you want something challenging with a good storyline and making some tough decisions at the end!
