📖 THE STORY
We were rebels and our mission was to free R2D2 from the dreaded Death Star and to deliver the space station plans back to our base.
🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE
We were really impressed with the quality of the build on the R2D2 and Death Star props. They had built these in-house, but it felt like ones on the movie sets.
The “spaceship feel” was enhanced by the fog effect and special lighting enhancements.
Puzzles were unique and designed closely with the story line. We enjoyed that there were no hiccups throughout the play.
The room presented a very logical and “wow” ending.
The added on “difficulty” aspect within the puzzle solving was quite unique and fun to work around.
We had an enjoyable moment feeling like we were actually maneuvering the spaceship and preparing for war.
🧩 MISSED THE MARK
Some added sound effects during play would enhance the space travel feel.
One puzzle was quite difficult to visualize in the few steps that it looks for the solution. The props might need to be updated as some felt a bit worn out.
This room was somewhat linear. In the case of a few puzzles, the ideal number would be 2 people due to the props that they could use. It would be great if they are able to add more nonlinear puzzles or search items just to keep the other teammates occupied.
🏹 TAKE A SHOT?
If you are a Star Wars fan or Sci-Fi lover, you must give this room a try. Normally, I’m not really into the whole Star Wars universe or Sci-Fi when it comes to escape rooms, but this one was really enjoyable that it made me want to watch the movie. I especially loved the memorable moments with R2D2 (it would’ve been cool if it could talk and was the clue giver. Am I asking for too much?). For this room our recommended size is 2-4people mainly due to the dimensions of the room.
🔎 HINT
