📖 THE STORY

We had to venture through the Garden of Good and Evil to eventually get to the Sombrero of Life. We needed the Lady of Bones’ protection on our side from the Saint Death. We have 60 minutes…

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The artwork in this room was amazing. The vibrant colors immediately made us feel like we were in the movie “Coco”.

  • We enjoyed how they designed the “journey” forward. It felt like Disney ride as each scene opens its doors.

  • The forest was well designed. A puzzle design offered a “Jumanji” life size board play feel which was new to us.

  • The ending was definitely a “wow” moment. This is the third room we’ve seen that utilized this prop in the room design.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • There was a delay in the interaction of a tech puzzle that we were trying to solve at the beginning. Some lights did not react even though we placed it on the right position. It would be great if they could double check on this.

  • One puzzle at the end was challenging for me due to a height issue. I was unable to see the clues (I’m 5-ft). If they could either add a “tree stump” of some sort as a stool, this could be resolved.

  • One puzzle took us a long time as it was quite difficult to visualize. I wonder how a player would ask for a hint on this. Would the game master have to come into the room?

  • At one point I hit my head at an area in the latter part of the game. It would be great if that area could be padded as I’m sure some other players probably also might run into it.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

This room gave us a “workout”. We were both sweaty by the end. The puzzles were definitely not easy. There were various types of puzzles like logic, physical, memory, visual etc... It was challenging with just the two of us. We escaped with only seconds on the clock. Our recommended size for this room would be 4 people and up. If you want to take up on a challenge in an amazing set designed room, Santa Muerte is a must try at E-Exit.
