After our two-floor walk-up, we reached the outside of the door and it said "CLOSED" and we thought we were at the wrong location. Thankfully, we rang the doorbell and our game master was there to let us in. She said that we were the last group of the day. The waiting area had a couple of puzzles to play with. However, the rest of the waiting/ lobby area was extremely messy. We had a choice between "Caribbean Pirate Ship" or "Escape From Alcatraz", so naturally we went w/ the latter figuring that it would have a more intense storyline. To be honest, this room felt like it was in beta-testing and there were a lot of changes that they were constantly making. Our game master was one of the owners and said she has never done an escape room before. As escape room enthusiasts, we highly recommend that the owners, designers, builders, etc experience what it's like from the customer's POV. If you don't know what the competition is like, how can you compare to them. The decor was satisfactory, but the puzzles definitely needed an upgrade.
