🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

  • The room contained mostly tech puzzles with no combination locks. This added to the theme of the room and was a way to add some clever twists to the puzzles.

  • The set design of the room felt futuristic and it could have belonged to a vigilante. The props and videos throughout the game was also of top quality.

  • There were some clever puzzles with satisfying eureka moments as well as some puzzles that were large enough that many people could work on them together.

  • The large monitor in the room was a key item in the room that was used a lot and allowed everyone to gather around to solve.

  • The final, non-linear set of puzzles shined in that it had a mix of everything as well as let everyone in our group have their chance to solve a satisfying puzzle.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

  • There was an audio puzzle that we had issues hearing and the recording seemed muffed. They were able to provide us with the transcript to the audio when we asked for a hint and at the time, they said they were re-recording the audio for clarity.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

"Guardian of Gotham" was a futuristically designed room which created a lot of immersion to the game. The puzzles mixed from linear to non-linear which allowed everyone to participate and stay engaged. The top-quality props, intro and outro video, tech of the room and small details made for a satisfying and fantastic experience. We played with 3 people and were able to see and participate in everything. This room could have fit up to 8 comfortably though. Any sci-fi fans, tech lovers or fans of word play puzzles would really enjoy this room.
