Oh no! Your alarm didn’t go off this morning and you are late to attend the campus tour today. Rushing to campus, you arrive in the room for the tour and it looks like the group has already moved on. You need to solve the puzzles if you want to catch up to them!

This game was commissioned by the Santa Clara University so there were many Easter eggs to the university in this game. That did not take away from the game play though as it was still quite entertaining. One of the things we enjoy about Paruzal is that they commission a different artist for each of their games. Each game then has a different feel to it. As the banner picture shows, this game had a fun appeal to it. Most of the pictures were an overhead view of the room as we travelled from building to building. We were then allowed to interact with whatever we would like, usually with another picture which was a close up of the item.

The puzzles in this game were not overly difficult. Most of them consisted of finding items and knowing what to do with them or deciphering codes. That being said, there was definitely a lot to do and see as you had to navigate through many of the buildings. We would recommend having a pen and paper handy as you go to keep track of items. Some of the actions that had to be done were quite creative, even for an audio escape room where pretty much anything goes already.

This was a little easier of a game that required less puzzling than most, but still a great time to play. We all thought for a Monday night game, it was satisfying to complete without having to overly exert ourselves. My tip for the game would be to travel and explore everything before solving things. We did end up stuck a few times not sure if we missed something only to discover, the item we needed was much later in the game. There were also some peculiar items and actions that could be found and done in this game to keep it exciting, which on that note, if Santa Clara University does not already have a rocket ship to help you travel around campus, it absolutely should!
