We were invite by the the Hado USA team to join them at their premiere event at Player Omega. Player Omega was at The Fairplex center in Pomona, California this year.
Thousands of people attended the event. Player Omega is an immersive, fully participatory experience with tournaments, open game play, cosplay, panel discussions, art installations, and more! Competitors can battle through the open-bracket tournaments to win a share of prize pools up to $10k.
HADO™ is the first augmented reality sport that allows players to run freely within player v player, 2v2 or 3v3 arena battles. We tried the sport at the event and it felt like we're Dragon Ball Z characters playing Dodge Ball. It definitely can work up a sweat. If you don't exercise much like Brandon, you'll give up after one game. I was at least able to play two games straight but at the end of it, I was out of breath. It's a great concept to get the gamers to get up and do some exercises after a long day of sitting at the computers.
