📖 THE STORY

There's a secret passageway located in the hidden train tunnels that leads to the Ashland Docks. An officer from the Nautilus has arrived searching for volunteers to board the vessel on their journey to Atlantis. Their objective is to research aquatic animals from a secret ancient civilization. But beware, there are some dangerous sea monsters lurking down under.

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• I like how RED VEIN Escape brought Jules Verne's classic tale of "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" to a more modern-day era. It's a very exciting concept to provide people with the opportunity to board the famous Nautilus.

• Usually when the company has a haunt background, you can count on the quality of the set design. They spare no expense when creating the experience visually for the players. Based on the storyline, we received word that the Nautilus was to be found at the Ashland Docks. We did not expect there to be an actual dock that moves when you walk on it. We're huge fans of escape rooms that creates the setting for us before we even enter the game.

• We had a very entertaining GM that greeted us at the beginning with the storyline and congratulated us after we successfully came back from our expedition.

• Once inside, the sound of the submarine, lighting and "surprises" really made us feel like we're under water.

• The puzzles were mainly tech-based and delivered the experience you would typically receive onboard a vessel. We felt like we're part of the crew on deck and had to separate to accomplish different crew duties.
  

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• This is a really fun experience. We don't really have much to say in this section.
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

RED VEIN Haunted House opened in 2016. RED VEIN Escape opened in 2019 following their original endeavor - RED VEIN Haunted House, which opened in 2016. Their games tend to lead to the eerie genre in order to create that immersive experience. Although, "Escape from 20,000 Leagues" is not a horror-themed game, it's fully immersive. They currently have (3) games available - Escape from 20,000 Leagues", "Hunt for the Richmond Vampire", and their 10-minute game- "Phobia". We had a chance to play that as well and it was very different. If you want to experience the ultimate sensory test in complete darkness. Definitely give this mini game a try. We definitely have to be back for the vampire game though. You'll know exactly why that is if you take a peek at the interview video above.

There's a free parking lot in front of the facility. There are some seating outside as well. Lobby area with seating. Party room available.
