📖 THE STORY

You enter the Casino Mortale as detectives trying to solve the untimely murder of its owner. You quickly discover that so many of the people he knew have their own motives for his demise. Can you discover who committed the crime? And since you’re there, maybe you want to take advantage of the situation and rob his safe?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• Before the game begins, we receive a couple of emails that provide extra depth to the story. One of the emails contains a newspaper article which might help you later in the game, so come prepared.

• Despite taking place in a very small area, the game packs a lot in side. Almost everything around you will be important during your game at some point, so pay close attention to everything you see.

• Like in their other room (Painkiller), you’ll notice that the story is important throughout the game, and like Painkiller there is also a twist as you approach the finale.
  

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• The size of the room does limit the variety of puzzles which can be offered. A lot of our time is spent reading materials and solving puzzles on a computer.

• An important piece of information is hidden in an area which was hard to access because the item it is housed in was damaged (on purpose or not, I don’t know). Since it was damaged, we didn’t expect to find something in it. In other escape rooms, if you remove the handle from a drawer (for example), it is normally because you aren’t supposed to open it.
  

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

For teams looking for heavy logic and deduction-based puzzles this is a challenging

room to play. Due to the size constraints, we found three to be an ideal time size. We

wouldn’t recommend playing with more than four.
