How many of you have watched Hanna on Amazon? We saw the movie Hanna back in 2011 with Saoirse Ronan, Eric Banaactually, and Cate Blanchett. We didn't know that they made it into an Amazon series until "The Escape Game" posted an announcement about this game. We started watching the Amazon series in case we needed information for the game. Currently we are on episode 3 and it's been pretty interesting. If you want to watch the series, you probably don't want to watch the recap video in the game as there will be some spoiler scenes. You don't need to watch the video to solve the puzzles, but if you don't care for spoilers then it's nice to have a back story.

It's always exciting to see other industries able to incorporate escape games into their products. Since we know the quality of The Escape Game's production (escape room and digital games), we can't wait to dig in! This digital game is a point and click game and you won't need to print or cut anything. The game has a similar interface as their other digital games. The blue background is pretty iconic to the TEG Unlocked series. Seeing that their other games also had a "chase and find" type of detective vibe, it was a no-brainer for "Hanna" to hire them to develop this game.

You'll be greeted by a welcome video followed by instructions on your mission. As you solve puzzles, you'll unlock different folders containing other materials to help you track down Hanna. The interface was very easy to use and it was great to be able to solve the puzzles interactively. The music in the game created a type of urgency like you were actually in the field on a manhunt mission. As we completed a puzzle, we would get an update by video on what our next mission would be. It was nice to eliminate some reading elements and made the game feel like a real life assignment. For international players, there will be a time where you'll need to dial a number (if you don't have a way to make that call, contact us and we'll be happy to help). This is definitely a fun game to gather friends and family to play over a video conference call. After hundreds of digital games played online, this was definitely one of our favorites. Thanks for keeping us entertained for over an hour! And the icing on the cake? It's FREE!
