📖 THE STORY

As you head to the office party and prepare to step into the elevator, a sudden explosion occurs above you. The power outage plunges you into total darkness! Will you be able to restore power in time?

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

• The situation is quite unique. Instead of being placed in a pitch dark room to begin the game, we had to find our way into the darkness as part of the storyline.

• One of the initial puzzles in the game is really interesting. We particularly liked the method of interacting with the prop.

• Despite the limited space, we never experienced any issues with bumping into each other. In fact, I always sensed a subtle guidance that helped me navigate the room.

• The puzzles focused on our sense of touch, perception of objects in darkness, and at times even sound. It was an overwhelming sensory experience.

• Receiving clear instructions on what needs to be done and how many tasks are remaining provided valuable guidance during the final puzzles in the darkness.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

• Integrating the hint system through a character into the story could enhance the immersive experience. Perhaps a mechanic or office manager?

We have a deep appreciation for the intriguing world of dark escape room concepts, a realm that unfortunately remains relatively unexplored. It is a rare delight to encounter a pitch-dark escape game, with this particular experience marking only the second time we have ventured into such a unique setting.

The absence of light in these scenarios serves to heighten our remaining senses, allowing us to navigate through challenges that would otherwise be straightforward in a well-lit environment. The deliberate design of this game aims to immerse players in a world where tactile and auditory take precedence over vision, offering a fresh and captivating perspective on the escape room genre. The chance to immerse ourselves in and discover these alternative senses has truly elevated our gaming adventure! We are completely enthralled and grateful for the exceptional challenges that have enriched our experience.
