📖 THE STORY

Vince Chords, the CEO of Chord Records, was found dead, face-down, during one of the many music festivals his company organises. Investigate the resort - learn about forensic tests, listen to witness testimony, search for evidence - and find out who of the five suspects you currently have on file are responsible, and what they used to complete the deed!

🎯 HIT THE BULLSEYE

Straightforward mission and easy entry - The mission is presented to you at the start of the experience, neatly packed into a single envelope and clearly explained - “Find the suspect and weapon”. After which, you and your group will be free to explore the space however you want.
Something for everyone - Whether you’re an amateur sleuth, science geek, or just someone who just wants to vibe and take photos, there’s something for you. This experience not only has a mystery for you to solve, but also Instagram-worthy areas, and stations where players can “play” at demonstration areas, each covering different aspects of forensic science.
Multiple Attempts - Since this is not strictly an Escape Room, you can actually re-enter the space and try to solve the mystery again. In fact, the mystery is more of an optional feature rather than the main objective. However, this also takes off the pressure when making your next move.

🧩 MISSED THE MARK

The Story - Granted; this was more of an open, immersive experience meant to educate the masses on forensic science. However, there were so many potential storylines that were cut off abruptly in favour of the “correct” answer. It would have been nice to find out what happened to the other suspects at the end.

🏹 TAKE A SHOT?

While "Breach Resort" poses a mystery for player groups upon entrance, this is not an Escape Room with a strict time limit or fixed escape route. Set in one of the convention halls at the Singapore Science Centre Annexe building, "Breach Resort" is an immersive experience created to educate audiences on the use of forensic science and deduction on a scene that could be a forensic nightmare - with sand and “water”.

The event was also peppered with fun (but inconsequential to the mystery) activities - temporary tattoos, paint-filled plastic bag throwing (to teach blood splatter), stamps that form your own composite sketch. And people looking for an Instagram-worthy time will definitely not be disappointed.

Therefore, if you were looking for something less time sensitive, more family friendly, and still immersive with an option of solving or learning something new, give UNTAME’s future activities a try!
